Refund and Returns Policy

Refunds

  • An unused rail pass is fully refundable if requested within the pass validity period (120 days) and no segments have been booked.
  • If travel has been booked, pass is fully refundable up to 48 hours prior to the scheduled departure of the first booked segment.
  • Pass is refundable within 48 hours of scheduled departure of the first booked segment, less a 25% cancelation fee.
  • Pass is non-refundable after the scheduled departure of the first booked segment.
  • Pass has no remaining value following the validity period, even if no segments have been booked or used.

Changes and Cancellations

  • Trip changes are permitted prior to the scheduled departure of a booked segment.
  • Rebooked segments must be made within the pass validity period (120 days) or within 30 days after the beginning the first travel segment.
  • Prior to scheduled departure, travel segments can be canceled and returned to the pass.
  • No changes or cancelations are permitted after the scheduled departure time of a booked segment.

About Fares

Train will exercise reasonable efforts to ensure that all published fares are accurate, but reserves the right to correct any erroneously published fare that was not intended for sale. In the event that an erroneous fare is published for sale and a ticket is issued by the brand, Train reserves the right to cancel the ticket and refund the total amount paid by the purchaser in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

  • Train reserves the right to limit the number of tickets sold at a given fare amount.
  • For reserved services, a range of fares may apply. Train provider will quote and price your travel at the lowest fare available for each class at the time you make your reservation.
  • On unreserved services, the lowest fares may be restricted during peak travel periods.
  • When itinerary changes are permitted, difference in fare may apply.
  • Some discount fares may be non-changeable and only partially refundable.
  • Fares are not guaranteed until train brand provides you with a reservation confirmation.
  • Fares, routes and schedules are subject to change without notice.

Multi-Ride Ticket Cancellations

A cancellation fee applies to all multi-ride refunds. Refunds may be restricted if the multi-ride ticket was paid for with a tax-free transit subsidy.

Monthly Ticket Refund Policy

Refund before valid month and zero rides (lifts) taken

  • Cancellations:
    • 0 to 1 hour after purchase: no fee, full refund to original form of payment.
    • 1+ hours after purchase: 25% of total fare is forfeit, 75% returned to original form of payment.
  • Changes: 25% of total fare is forfeit, 75% available to exchange for another ticket.

Refund day 1-10 of valid month

  • Cancellations: 50% of total fare is forfeit, 50% returned to original form of payment.
  • Changes: 50% of total fare is forfeit, 50% available to exchange for another ticket.

Refund on or after day 11 of valid month

  • Cancellations: Not permitted
  • Changes: Not permitted

Ten-Ride and Six-Ride Ticket Refund Policy

Zero rides (lifts) taken

  • Cancellations:
    • 0 to 1 hour after purchase: no fee, full refund to original form of payment.
    • 1+ hours after purchase: 25% of total fare is forfeit, 75% returned to original form of payment.
  • Changes: 25% of total fare is forfeit, 75% available to exchange for another ticket.
